Move, walk and breathe the way your body was designed to.
Pain and stiffness are rarely about the spot that hurts. They're about how your whole body has learned to move around it. I help you find the patterns keeping you stuck — and give your body a way back to easy, confident movement.
Most approaches ask where it hurts. I ask why.
When something aches, the body is clever — it quietly shifts the load elsewhere. An old ankle sprain changes how you walk. A held breath tightens your shoulders. Over time these small compensations become your default, long after the original problem has healed.
I look at how your whole body moves together — your gait, your feet, your breath, your posture and your movement patterns — to find the compensations behind the symptom. It’s a way of understanding your body as one connected system, so we can work with the cause rather than chase the pain.
This is especially helpful if you’ve already seen a healthcare professional, had investigations or been given a diagnosis, but still feel like your body isn’t quite working as it should.

Why it Works
Very few practitioners look at walking, breathing and whole-body movement as one connected story. I do. That combined lens is what surfaces the patterns a single-discipline approach tends to miss — and it’s why clients who felt they’d tried everything often find a way forward here.
Around 70% of us carry some form of breathing dysfunction without realising it, and it influences everything from posture and pain to sleep and anxiety. Reading your breath alongside how you move gives us a far fuller understanding of what your body is actually doing.
Hello, I'm Verity.
I’m a yoga, gait and breath specialist, and I’ve spent years helping people understand the way their own bodies move. I’ve worked with more than 980 clients — from first-timers to my oldest at 78 — taught classes of up to 180 people and led retreats abroad. In 2008, ES Magazine named me one of London’s top three private yoga teachers.
What I care about most is simple: helping you move with confidence, so you can get on with the adventures in your life.
Who this is for
This work tends to suit you if you recognise yourself in one of these.
Living with a persistent ache that won't fully settle
Returning to activity after an injury
Carrying long-standing movement habits you'd like to change
Simply wanting to move and breathe with more ease and confidence
Please note: this is not a diagnostic service and isn’t suitable for acute injuries or medical conditions needing urgent diagnosis or treatment.
Reviews from my happy clients

After seeing many specialists she is finally someone who seem to be able to work through all my various niggles.Posted on Google Elizabeth Brown15/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently injured my ankle and ended up in A&E twice. Although the X-rays showed no fracture, I was diagnosed with tendonitis and advised to take anti-inflammatory medication and gels, neither of which I can use due to stomach issues. I had previously seen Verity when I was struggling with lower-core strength in yoga and Pilates. She set me a tailored programme that made a huge difference, and I’m now getting far more out of those classes. With my ankle injury, Verity has again been incredibly thoughtful and precise. She designed gentle, targeted exercises to strengthen my glutes and has helped me develop an awareness of how I walk and which muscles I rely on. This has completely changed the way I move, and my ankle is already benefiting as a result. Verity is measured, thorough and exceptionally knowledgeable. She takes the time to talk through her assessment and explain why specific exercises will help, which gives you real confidence in the process. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.Posted on Google RVSR07/10/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been suffering with foot pain for about 3 years, Iv had countless A&E visits, nhs appointments, x-rays etc. After working with Verity I finally feel like I’m on the road to recovery. After just 3 sessions, my foot honestly felt the best it has in years. The way she worked to find the root of the problem was casually phenomenal. Iv had a lump on my foot a very long time, verity identified it as a dislocated cuboid - all other practitioners saw it as inflammation only. After a few sessions of investigation, we did one session that focused on pushing the cuboid back into place and ever since the lump has 99% disappeared - it feels like a miracle! Since following her advice with exercises, compression socks, and rock tape, I’ve been able to push my foot more each week with only mild discomfort that quickly settles. Previously I would be rendered immobile after such activities. I can do normal things once again with Verity’s help. I’m so thankful. Verity is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cares about getting you back to full strength. This is the most progress I’ve seen in years, and I’d highly recommend her to anyone dealing with long-term issues. I’m still visiting Verity regularly to keep improving the health of my foot. Thanks Verity!Posted on Google Corinne Harrison09/03/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been seeing Verity for about 7 months for pain at the top of my hamstrings and coccyx pain. Verity is incredibly knowledgeable about gait and posture. Her exercises and explanations are clear - often illustrated with models - and they work. The pain in the hamstrings is gone and I feel much more confident about how to address the underlying reasons for the pain in my day-to-day life, though a combination of exercises, breathing and changing my gait. I would highly recommend Verity.Posted on Google Finola Kendall26/02/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Verity is an excellent practitioner and teacher. I have had pain in my foot for several years. I worked with different practitioners and tried different approaches, unsuccessfully. I honestly thought I had tried everything and I was resigned to run with pain until I met Verity. Her eye to asses movement patterns and find out a way to correct them is a gift from the Universe. Verity’s help took away my foot pain literally in one session. Thanks to her I am finally running pain free.Posted on Google Carlo Constandinou17/12/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been working with Verity for Morton’s neuromas. After just one session, I felt a noticeable difference in my feet. Verity’s unique approach of combining breathwork with mindfulness has really helped me. Verity does an excellent job of explaining terms and concepts, which helps in understanding movement patterns and processes. I’m looking forward to continuing working with her to see how my feet continue to transform.Posted on Google Sinéad O'Dea07/09/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Verity. She is one in a million. She is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and the compensatory patterns it can go into. She is also a very friendly and supportive person, a pleasure to work with. When I first came to Verity I had been suffering from really bad back pain and slight scoliosis for 5 years and I had visited almost 20 different types of physios, osteopaths and podiatrists to no avail, with the pain only getting worse. In contrast, after just one online appointment with Verity I felt renewed and stronger. And after doing the 4 exercises she gave me for a few weeks, I could already feel my legs and glutes working better than before. My lungs were also working much better. I know this because I was never able to inflate a balloon but I was able to do it. Since going to Verity my hip has stopped hiking up and I can now walk for longer pain free. Verity gives clear instructions and prescribes very precise and effective exercises, which lead to amazing results. My appointments were all online but despite this, Verity was able to guide me and help me understand my body and its patterns better. If you are suffering from any aches and pains, I am sure Verity can get to the bottom of it.Posted on Google James Sandhu23/07/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could describe Verity in one word, it would be “Endurance”! She will stay by your side all the way to your finish line! I first contacted Verity as I had a long-standing improper gait movement and posture due to sciatica that occurred in 2015. The sciatica affects my left leg nerves resulting in less mobility and foot numbness. I often tripped and sometimes fell such as onto the sidewalk. I thought that I had to learn to live with these ailments. I was convinced that it was impossible to improve my nerve senses. After living with my conditions for almost 9 years, I contacted Verity and from the first day, she exclaimed she can help me! I have been seeing Verity regularly for the past 6 months. As already mentionned, Verity's initial observations were that my walking challenges and numbness were curable. My improvements made to date are already astronomical! If you are wondering, yes, I have the feeling restored to the previously numb areas of my feet! Each time we have a session, we are both able to see my improvements. Verity focuses on the source of the issue working on the essential areas of concern often making the slightest of adjustments such as to posture resulting in a huge relief! During our first session, I recall her telling me that in order to remove pressure from my lower back when standing (which was consistently sore) that I should slightly bend my knees. I immediately felt the relief! Although even now, she stills needs to gently remind me at times when I unconsciously return to my old habits. For me, some days are harder than others to visualize my progress. But regardless of how I am feeling, the best part is knowing that she is cheering me on and remarking on all my positive adjustments! I find myself continually recalling concepts and ideas that Verity has offered to me during our sessions. I am undertaking and achieving poses that I never thought were possible due to my self-proclaimed inflexibility. She gave me the confidence to reach beyond what I thought possible. I always look forward to speaking to her! Verity is honest, knows my challenges and understands the rollercoaster of self-improvement. If you are seeking assistance for correcting your gait, yoga & breath, I cannot recommend a better mentor than Verity for your journey. I sincerely wish to thank Verity for making me believe in myself.
