June 16th, 23rd & 30th. 3 x 75-minute live sessions. Online. 6pm UK

Live places limited. Early bird ends 30 May, thereafter the price will be £120 per person. The first 3 bookings will get an extra add on as we will be using your gait analysis during the workshops. If you cannot attend the workshop live, the recordings will be available to purchase for 2 weeks after each workshop.

This 3-part online workshop is designed for movement teachers who want to understand gait beyond isolated muscles and textbook biomechanics.

We will look at the body as a whole interconnected fabric as it moves forward with gravity.

Breaking it down into key stone positions you can immediately apply to assessment, cueing, and programming.

Verity works with the body as a wonderful interconnect whole and the results are incredible. Highly recommend training with her.

Session 1: Foot to Pelvis.

  • The 3 planes of movement – Their uses, limitations, and how they apply to pelvis and lower limb mechanics
  • Gait phase breakdown – Understanding the walking cycle, terminology and the key markers that reveal efficiency or compensation
  • Foot alignment & mechanics – What to assess, what matters most, and what the rest of the body is causing
  • Knee movement in gait –  Why knees often become the messenger rather than the problem
  • Ideal gait positions – Where movement commonly breaks down and what to look for / test for
  • Physical exploration – Experiencing these concepts in your own body rather than just intellectually understanding them
  • Gait analysis & exercise application – Turning observation into practical intervention

Session 2: Pelvis to Shoulder + Breath
  • The Three Planes – Rib ↔ Pelvis Relationship in Gait
  • Stance Phase Assessment in 3 planes.
  • Forward Strategies
  • Early & Late Stance / Double Support
  • Internal & external rotation for moving forward
  • Arm Swing assessment – what we want and don’t want to see.
  • Breath Mechanics and as a Gait Diagnostic Tool
  • Hemi-Pelvis + hypermobility Compensation Patterns
  • Exploration on our selves, Q & A, gait analysis.
  •
  • Session 3: Head to Toe
Bringing the system together through full gait analysis, integration, practical application, and Q&A

  • The Head & Neck in 3 planes influence down body
  • Jaw & Tongue & Teeth
  • Practical Movement Exploration
  • Supine Assessment & Breath Exploration
  • Gait Analysis
  • Q&A + Integration

I am looking forward to learning together.
